Over the course of having dogs we have found a number of items we truly love and use on a regular basis. Some of them are puppy specific...you might want to check some of them out for your new puppy (even if the puppy you choose isn't one of ours). Others are items we use regularly with our growing and older dogs. Collapsible Wire Dog Crate - Various Sizes
These crates are cost effective and work great. The 2 doors make them easy to fit into any space. Pair them with training pads of your choice while crate training; add a comfy bed or crate pad when your puppy is fully trained. Because they are collapsible, they are easily stored or great for travel. The only drawback is you will have to buy several different sizes as your puppy grows.

Heavy Duty Oxford Crate Mat - Various Sizes
These heavy duty crate mats add comfort to crates without being overly bulky and can also be used as a bed outside the crate. Waterproof, stain & tear resistant and machine washable.

Orthopedic Dog Beds - Various Sizes
​Love these as general use beds. My dogs are wall sleepers so the L shape keeps them from rolling between the wall and the bed and pushing the bed across the room (skid proof bottom helps with the latter as well). Easy to keep clean with a vacuum and removable cover is washable while the inner lining is water-proof.

1 Gallon Non-Slip, No Splash, No Spill Water Bowl
We like these for in the kitchen. They can't "swim" in them or flip them over. Has a no slip pads on the bottom so the pretty much stay where you put them. Comes apart completely for thorough , easy cleaning.
9 Liter Gravity/Automatic Waterer with Stainless Steel Bowl
Love these for outdoor use! At over 2 gallons we aren't having to constantly check on them for refills while playing/working in the yard. Very easy to clean and refill.

We like these as food bowls as they are stainless steel, skid proof and easy to clean. Stainless steel is recommended because it is rust resistant and non-porous harbors less bacteria than plastics
